Old man Opus, 27 years old this Spring, is the reason why I started making Pet Pads™. Every time I was knitting a blanket he would want to lay on it, so one day I made a tiny blanket just for him and voila - Pet Pads™ were born!
This particular yarn color is called Mushroom Mix, a perfect blend of neutrals to match any decor. Sadly, this color has been discontinued so quantities are limited!

Welcome! I’m Leah — the maker behind this small handmade business specializing in hand-knit gifts, home décor, and pet accessories.
For years, I admired the calming rhythm of knitting and crochet. The repetitive stitches looked almost meditative, but I had never learned myself. In October 2019, I finally told my mom I was ready to learn. With her patient guidance (and plenty of dropped stitches along the way), I completed my very first scarf — a little misshapen, slightly wonky, but made with heart. From that moment on, I was hooked.
Over the next few years, I refined my skills — mastering tension, learning new stitch patterns, and exploring different textures and yarns. I began creating handcrafted scarves, blankets, decorative knit pieces, and custom pet pads. Every gift I gave to friends and coworkers reminded me why handmade matters — because it carries warmth, comfort, and intention.
In March 2024, I officially registered my small business so I could participate in local craft shows and street fairs. Meeting customers in person, watching someone smile at a display of hand-knit cupcakes, or seeing a returning customer purchase another cozy pet pad for their fur baby — those moments are everything to me.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully handcrafted to bring comfort, joy, and a touch of warmth to your home.

Absolutely! They are washer and dryer safe - recommended on low heat.
